We had another snow day today.
The school called 8 minutes
before we had to get up.
That was cutting it really close!
turned out that by 9 A.M.
it had turned to rain
and the roads were just slushy.
But earlier it was really slippery.
It's always so pretty when it first snows.
Everything looks clean and bright.
The dogs enjoy the snow tremendously.
Bentley loves to bury his face in it.
Today they went out and created a heart in the snow.
Come on....if you squint, you can see it.
But when I let them in
there was a definite odor of skunk in the air.
So we waited a while before letting them out again!!
The girls had a good day off as well.
Emily baked, Ashley got caught up on some homework
and Kayla finished a TV series
she had been watching on her laptop.
All and all it was a good day.
After lunch we watched a movie.
The girls were happy to stay home and
the dogs didn't get sprayed.
It all made me smile...............
