About a month ago
it was decided
that the girls would all take a day,
Ashley on Fridays,
Emily on Saturdays,
and Kayla on Sundays,
to cook dinner.
Because of our schedules
Kayla has been the only one
to consistently make dinner
on her chosen day.
Including dessert.

I would like to think
that this is a gift they are given.
They seem to be enjoying the process.
Cookbooks and the internet
are perused weekly
in search of the next great recipe.
What I love most
is that they are looking past the chicken recipes
to lamb, pork and pasta.
Greek and Morrrocan recipes.
Spices and ingredients never before seen .
What a wonderful pleasures
cooking can bring to your life.
It makes me smile.......
