Yesterday was busy
so I apologize for being late.
We have a radio station
that plays "oldies".
Mostly 70's and 80's music.
Music I danced to, sang to,
music that instantly conjure up images
of places and friends and times
of my life....good and bad,
heartbreak and greatest joys.
As I was driving home yesterday
They played a particular string of songs
that brought back one happy memory
after the other.
And as I drove home in the rain and fog
I smiled.................
