Last night was Halloween and the girls
had a terrific time.
Today, the decorations came down
and once again, the house looked
at once empty, and airy and clean.
Today being a Sunday, Kayla made dinner.
King Ranch Chicken Casserole
accompanied by a salad
with tomatoes, cucumber and fennel.
Actually it tasted like tortilla soup
in a casserole form.
It was excellent.
The rest of the family
thought it was too spicy.
I'm looking forward to the best lunches this week !
it will make me smile.......
